When I Started:
How I Started:
Joined a gym at 16 because it sounded fun. Got made fun of for being in a gym and being skinny. Have been working out ever since. Was a runner for 20 years. Switched to cycling in 2002. Lift year round. Moved from Los Angeles to Wyoming when I was 30. Gained a little bit of weight after moving, thinking I could eat whatever I wanted since I was a runner and never had a problem. After switching to cycling I decided to lose the weight to be faster on the bike. I lost more than planned because it came off so easily with a healthy diet and lots of cardio. Now I'm back to my old self and can't keep the weight on.
Why I Love It:
I'm addicted to lifting. I can't imagine NOT working out. I love feeling healthy. I love the high. I love knowing that I'm taking care of my body for the long term.
How I Stay Motivated:
The results keep me motivated. Knowing how I'll feel and look if I don't work out keeps me motivated. My competitive spirit keeps me motivated. This website and all of the wonderful people I've met and the amazing physiques keep me motivated!
This was before I started lifting heavier, 5' 8" and 110#. I had always lifted and not totally wimpy but decided to go heavier and see where it would take me.
Most importantly, to live my life with passion!!! To gain more muscle while staying lean. To create more defined muscle in my legs. It WILL happen! WATCH ME! ;) DO WORK CREW!
I've known Sonya for a long time and she's always looked great but recently she has taken it to a whole new level. She stepped outside the box and just look at those muscles now! Her desire to be her best and inspire others is very inspiring to me. And those muscles inspire me too!
Even though he looks like perfection to the rest of us, he is never satisfied, always striving for more, always taking his body to the next level. He never gives up, never gives in. And in his "spare" time outside of working out and all of his other responsibilities, he spends his time sharing his knowledge and helping others achieve their goals. He is one of the most caring, giving people I've ever met. The world is a better place because he is in it. And I am a better person for knowing him.
Hi there. So, is cycling done for the season in Wyoming? I still manage to get a ride in here and there when it's warm enough. Yesterday I did 35 mi. Was hopeing to do more, but I had done a pretty intense leg w/o on Thursday and hadn't fully recovered from that yet, so my legs were still a little sore. Anyhow, Abs/core are looking great, keep up the good work, and have a wonderful day.
First off I am loving the new profile pic! Miss Abs :) Secondly I just got back in from a great night with some cousins out here in Oklahoma at the casino. Broke even but still had fun!!! I am actually headed to the gym tomorrow!! Hope you are enjoying the weekend :)
I'm happy to present you with the award of best profile picture in the category "adorable abs". Now you have to make a speech and thank your parents, your producer, the camera-guy, the shop where you got this beautiful red peace of clothing... ;-)
When are you delivering the present, who needs a long white beard and a big belly, I'll settle for SUzmax as my Santa hehehe ;)
Love the profile pic but missing the green colour perhaps a tree on the side of the thong ?
