How I Started:
I have been working out off and on since I was a teenager. My father started me young. After I joined the military my physical health started to decline and I adopted many bad habits i.e. drinking and smoking. Now that I am at a point in my career that I have the time and resources to workout, I am doing so.
Why I Love It:
Bodybuilding keeps my body, mind and heart healthy. It's not just a physical thing, it's a daily mental vacation.
How I Stay Motivated:
I am ashamed to admit it, but I workout in tank-tops and in front of mirrors. It allows me to see my progress. Being an engineer I am also obsessed with numbers. Once a month my wife takes body measurements so I can see my progress.
