Background

When I Started: Apr 2011
HOW I STARTED:

Somehow amidst my various studies I came across Zhansi on You Tube and it ignited a passion that had once budded before... but I picked it up before its time. Played ball my entire life, graduated college, started working, got married, had children, and that was a wrap, no time. Had to get back in to a more active lifestyle.

WHY I LOVE IT:

I love the dedication it takes to be successful in this art. No slackers in here or it will show. I think working out in general carries over into all other aspects of your life so it is important to approach it in the manner you want everything else to go in your world.

I just felt like writing, great workout today!!! I'm beginning to see results and that's super encouraging. You know you're doing something right when you start getting those looks like people are trying to figure out what you're doing and catch you in between sets. I don't look for that but it does let you know that you are being watched so don't slack potnuh!!! I don't know what happened this week. My workouts this week were basically nonexistent as well as the diet. Really fell off this week. I remember something Ronnie Coleman said though, fall off get back on it as soon as you can so that's what I'm going to do.....I'm getting my Indiana Jones on right now!!! lol

Pushing through, Visions to Dreams to Reality

Today, I went to the gym with the fam. I was a little tired, and then after getting everyone situated into their respectful places, ie. kids room, wife to the hot tubs and whatever else she wanted to do, I proceeded to the weight room. I hopped on the treadmill to warm up and had nothing. I was so close to just walking out of there and just going shoot some hoop. I did not, i repeat did not feel like getting it in..
