I saw the builders in the Muscle Magazines and wanted to be like them. I ran 80 miles a week in high school and wanted to pack on more weight.
***
After my mom passed away in April 2007, I became depressed and withdrawn, ate terribly and remained sedentary. When I tipped the scales at 180 pounds, I decided to do something about it.
Why I Love It:
Makes you look good, and something to show for it.
How I Stay Motivated:
After seeing American Gladiators and re-living my ambition to be a contender on that show, I now train for that level of fitness.
BB Accomplishments:
I benched 135x3 back in cross country...when I weighed 135.

This shirt was the wrong size, yet I modeled it for the person who gave it to me. I know it's too tights, but this was when I realized that the 20 pounds I gained after my mom's death were really visible! I also couldn't fit into a pair of jeans I wore for the winter.
Doesn't look like much of a change, but I can fit in my jeans again, and the legs are actually a bit tight! I should post pics of my legs. I weigh the same.
Oh Adam ,A Car crash I hope you are getting better . I have been off hiding and stress eating feeling sorry for myself but I am aback on track with the diet and working out again.
Take care,
Thanks...yes, busy might be an understatement...it never stops but life's too short to sit back and let it pass. When i do finally get some time to breathe, i get restless.
You sound like my hubbie...he's all about the 1RM on the bench press. Keep in mind, I can only bench that weight with someone standing over me, screaming at me!! "PUSH IT, KIM!!!" :)
Thank you for the kind words ....I am downloading wkly progress pics and videos - prep for the CBBF Nationals and IFBB North Americans.......stay tune...
By the way your looking awesome...train with passion and from the heart - it will open doors to all your dreams.....wishing you the best. Christine :)
