I've been working out since after giving birth to my daughter. I realized that the last thing I wanted to do was to let myself go just b/c I had a child.
I started bodybuilding this last year when I started playing for a paintball team & was offered to appear on photoshoots.
Why I Love It:
I love working out b/c not only is it setting a great example for my daughter but it has increased my self esteem tremendously and is keeping me healthy.
How I Stay Motivated:
I stay motivated when I see the changes my body goes through & I realize that I can wear certain clothes I was not able to wear before. What has also kept me motivated are the opportunities I've been offered in the paintball community.
BB Accomplishments:
My major accomplishments are to lose another 7 lbs, completely tone my body and be at 10% bodyfat.

I'm the gal in black top. This was taken when I had already lost some of my goal weight along with inches. I wasn't satisfied therefor took it a step further to fulfill that accomplishment
This was taken on October 3rd for a shoot and so far I'm on the right track to my complete goal. I'm just trying to tone and lose 5% more in bodyfat for complete goal. But I'm happy.

Goal (Long):
While growing up I was always known to be chunky even though I was always active in sports. I wanted men 2 see me as a woman & not as a buddy. So far I've lost most of my weight. I went from 152lbs down to 116lbs. My long term goal is to be at 110lbs & be at 10% bodyfat. I want the paintball community to realize that not only can female P.Ball players play the sport but they can also be attractive. I want P.Ball Mags to use real female players & not just models.

What should look for in a gym? What should you avoid?
Before I became a member of this gym hours of function were important to me so this made my choice easier. But I also made sure they had variety and alot of cardio machines and weights.

What type of nutrition plan are you currently following? Give full details.
I eat the healthy carbs for brakfast for example grapefruit, oatmeal, banana, etc. I snack every 2 hours and it consists of trailmix, grapes or 100 calorie snack. I eat lunch at about 1:30 and it consists of protein & veggies. After 3pm I try not to eat or snack on any carbs unless working out in the evening. yea i am using free weights and i am going to try the pull ups i just bought a pull up bar at walmart thanks for the advice do u do just normal push ups or like the diamond one
na, only been working and going to school this past week... once the move is over at the end of the week I will be back on it next week... SUCKS! i hate taking time out of the gym, how's paintball going?
I do high intensity interval training which is basically a walk/run over 3.17 miles. I know how you feel about those legs being sore, I have to wrap my ankles now because they were getting sore. When you get back stretch as much as possible then sleep with the heating pad on the most sore area and you'll feel much better in the am!
Tell me about. I hate cardio in general. Lol. But its like you said "gotta do it" and what doesn't kill us makes us stronger! One of the things I did change up is my weight training music. I find myself listening to more classical music. Ok, Ok I know it sounds crazy but it helps me focus more. Lol. Trust me, I know what you mean about the family drama. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. Hahaha :+)
Thats cool Suhaily. Sounds like you had a good time. I'm glad to hear that. My weekend was pretty good. With my job being so hectic lately I decided hit the gym and rest over the weekend. I've been trying to find new ways to mix up my workouts and shock the body.Lol. Nothing planned for me. I had thought about going to Cali to see my parents but their gonna be busy with other stuff (work-a-holics)Hahaha. How about you? Anything cool planned? :+)
Hey I'm good, training is going well. I took today off since I started classes at night, I wanted to see how I was going to feel so I knew where to slip in exercise. I have a feeling it'll work perfectly cause I'm not as tired as I thought I'd be and I've been up since 5:50am. Hope your training is going well.
