As a recovery process from anorexia (in high school) I started bodybuilding and taking care of my body. I picked up a book called Body For Life, and was so inspired to take control of my body.
When I moved into College (CU Boulder), I became really interested in bodybuilding. I competed a couple of times and actually won a competition in the "Teen Category."
By the end of college, I really just loved helping others and I wrote a book called Lifetime Physique. It focuses on how to break through mental barriers and create a strong inner foundation that leads to success...the rest is (and will be) history.
Why I Love It:
I love the mind-body connection one has when bodybuilding, and I really feel that taking care of yourself physically helps emotionally too.
How I Stay Motivated:
I just do it! Don't think about it because that's when you can talk yourself out of doing something. GO FOR IT!
BB Accomplishments:
Gaining 25 pounds of lean body mass in 4 months without any drugs or supplements of any kind...just a lot of food!!!
I actually looked her up online randomly. I was looking for a good photographer to do my "after" pics. she happens to be right down the street from me so it worked out great. she actually spoke of you for a bit. saying how you wrote a book and what not and used your pics to show me examples of her "fitness" photography (thus far). i see every onceina while @ 24hr off of kipling
