I had Thyroid cancer two years ago and really put on the weight. Now that my levels are in the normal range I can finally start losing the weight.
Why I Love It:
The energy, the sweat, the feeling of accomplishment these are all reasons why I love to workout. Some see it as a chore, but when you really love it, it is all you think about.
How I Stay Motivated:
I look at the other people around me and say, "I love her legs", or "Wow look at those arms" doing that makes me train harder.
BB Accomplishments:
None as of yet but I am working on it.

I hope to be half this size within two years- if not sooner. I would rather take it off slow and keep it off than fast and gain it right back.
The stomach seems to be getting a little smaller and I am starting to see the ab line now.
To finally be able to look at myself in a mirror and not say, "OMG"
Goal (Long):
I have ballooned up to 354 pounds due to my Thyroid cancer and it is killing me. Although I have remained active there is a lot that I am unable to do, so I decided to change that. I joined a gym, got a trainer, and my diet is now excellent. I want to lose down to 148 pounds, and lean well defined muscles, and be able to run in a marathon within the next five years.
I have always been the fat girl with a pretty face, but I have always been very self conscious about my body and the way I look. I hate not having a fashionable wardrobe, having everything plain, and shopping at specialty stores. In general I am just sick of being tired and having life pass me by. I want to be in shape so I can not only look better but feel better as well. I know that I have to be patient in order to succeed, and try not to get discouraged, and I am confident that I can do this. Long live my new body!
So I did something that I thought I would never do- I fired my trainer. I felt that since I was planning all the routines, and she really wasn't doing much of anything why should I pay someone to just stand there. The only thing she really ever did for me was help me on my form, but since I...
yea i kinda wanted to tell you that in the befiing but i did not want to step on any ones toes, cause i thought you were doing prety good with your routines without her any way.

Yeh that's true, your body does need rest. We just got back from the track. Did some walking and sprints. I'm going to have to soak these bones today!!! :)
I read your blog about some days having motivation and other days not so much. I have the some thing, and on the tough days I've found out if I can just get to the gym, those are the days that are my best workouts. Keep up the great work!
Hey, I just wanted to stop by and give you some encouragement. I was up to 215 lbs. and now I'm at 180. I look and feel much better. You can do this, and people on this site will definitely encourage you. Best of luck
