Background
I discovered late in life how much I enjoy working out, weight lifting. I wish I came to that awareness years ago. At first I would hit the gym every so often just because I sit at a desk all day. It wasn;t until I lost my partner at the age of 44 to the silent killer that neither of us saw coming, High Blood Pressure, in an hour and half after speaking on the phone, it would be a stroke ended everything. it changed my entire life,turning everything upside down. Spiraling down into depression, grief and loss. I started to go back into the gym to harness the anger I felt and to cope with the grieving. Over time it evolved into something more then therapy for me. It began a journey for me in improving myself.Better, stronger, focused changing improving my overall
The feeling of accomplishment, exerting creativity and emotion. It gives me balance in both body and soul in my life
