I'm no bodybuilder. I am a diabetic and do fitness/cardio for general health. I have so much respect for the sport though. I only wish I could attain the levels of you guys. After a really bad car accident, and maybe a total of a dozen operations, I work out about 5 days a week. Look at least normal now and try to keep improving.
Why I Love It:
Following a work out, my blood sugar is great (and I feel less guilty about those numbers that I usually have to keep down with the medicines).
How I Stay Motivated:
Just seeing/reading this site keeps me motivated. The transformations are the best. I always feel so happy for these men and women that have turned it around and become fitness experts. Gives me hope. :)
Steve, really appreciate it. Think I am half way there and reading your profile really can understand the whole diabetes thing, runs in my family and seen 1st hand the consequances.
Thank you for the comment & rating - how's training going for you? Sorry to hear about your accident, but it's definitely great to hear you're still working hard on improving your fitness. :)
Thanks I really appreciate your comments it offers great motivation and its great that my hours into dieting and training at least have a positive outcome with your positive comment!
Cheers
Thanx for the comments on the photo! I really hit it hard in January, and I upped my food intake significantly during January as well. I normally do not eat that much.
First time ever, both Jan King and I are competing in some sort of fitness competition. In 34+ years of working out I have never competed as a bodybuilder.
Jan is a 49 yr old mom of 7. She started with me 1/2/2008, 1 year ago. See great photos of Jan: http://www.creativecommonsense .us/b4after.html#janking
