Mon: afternoon: warm-up on treadmill 5 to 10 min./ then Legs

Tues: 20 min treadmill morning/ afternoon Chest and abs

Wed: 20 min treadmill morning/ afternoon back and abs

Thurs: 20 min treadmill morning/ afternoon arms and abs

Fri: 30 min treadmill morning/ afternoon shoulders and abs

Sat: 30 min on treadmill

Sun: OFF

over40dad I have been taking creatine for about 6 weeks now. I definitely think it helps. I also just started taking pre workout. That seems to help me get through all those reps. Just feeling a little bummed cause I want to add muscle but it takes so damn long. Been at it now since Feb 2011. Oct 27, 2012 2:26pm

gordongoirish Hey Stephen, Just wanted to let you know my experience with the "weight loss". The scale hasn't changed but 4 lbs since I started lifting heavy back in May, but my body has changed so much and I'm fitting into clothes that I haven't worn in years and love the way I look. The best advice I got in the beginning was AVOID the scale. As a side note I got a bit bigger before I really started dropping the fat due to the muscle building up. Hope that helps! fitJeneration I would never use a wrap...it changes ur natural movement...just do less weight n stretch after five minute warmup...then lift n cool down..stretch again! Did I mention stretch? Oct 8, 2012 9:15pm

leosigurbergsso Thanks for the friend request Stephen. It looks like you are making a good progress. I have the same problem as you with Pull Ups and I just keep trying on my back days with weighted assists and it seems to be working at least I use less and less weight to help me. Oct 6, 2012 6:10pm

HughesBoi Don't do pull ups everyday. Allow your body at least three days of rest. Don't be afraid to use the assisted pull up machine. There are three different grips. Do a set of max (until failure) repetitions on all three. keep up the good work, I believe you can accomplish your goals...just be patient. Oct 6, 2012 4:34pm

gordongoirish Just keep working your back! I never thought I'd get there with dead hang pullups, but I just kept lifting/pulling heavy on my back days and using the assisted pull ups or use a band and eventually it just happened and I almost peed my pants with excitement!:-) Oct 6, 2012 2:54pm

fit2fightAF Hello, and thanks for the req. Your question on pullups. Use a chair/foot stool for support, do your 2 normally, then assist on the way up w/chair, then hang on as long as you can, release slowly back down to start position. I saw this on you tube, and it has helped me. I was only able to do 6-8, then once I did this every other day, I was able to increase 1 extra a week. look up how to do pull ups, tall buff tan guy:) Oct 6, 2012 6:45am
