How I Started:
I was training for cheerleading in college so every summer I would consistently workout. I have been slacking big time on getting and staying in shape even though I love working out.
Why I Love It:
I love working out because of the strength I gain from it, and my booty..lol...Its a good thing to do to help build your self-esteem and to be healthy.
How I Stay Motivated:
I need to fit into my jeans :o)

I have never really been satisfied/comfortable in my body. I played sports and stayed in shape, but I never felt that I was in the best shape or had an amazing physique. So I want to lose the fat and trade it in for muscle and strength. I want to be able to compete in the WTF and run a half marathon.
So I have been trying to manage my time with working out, work, and school. Today is the beginning of my Fall Semester for Grad School. This semester is also my midpoint review, which is when I present my thesis project. I have 3 classes that are going to take up most of my time. I still work...

WOW ironic... I was just thinking "I Kahlilah in a while. I wonder how she's doing," and BAM there you are on my page, lol. I'm deployed and NOT LOVING IT. Are your in Aug to the wedding? I'm moving to CA before the year is out. Hopefully before the summer is out.

I'd like to take this time to say... eating right SUCKS. I have way to much engery. And that's not a bad thing on my work days because it helps the day go by faster and I don't want to rip everyones head off. However, on my days off, when I have absolutly nothing to do, my heart is racing and I cant get rid of the energy because I work evenings now, so by the time I wake up on my off days, the gym is like closing... grr
Hi! Sorry it took so long to get back to you. I hope you are doing good. I've had a set back. I have damaged disks in my neck and lower back. I have someone who is going to help me with a diet until I can workout again. Take care and thanks for checking on me!
yeah i still havent posted them but i did take them... i finally got on a scale for the fist time in forever. Ilost weight :) I'm now back down to where i was when I came to bodyspace... hmm... well it was about 15 lbs... Goosh thats alot... Anyway atleast I'm losing weight and now that I'mback on track... lets go six pack :)
