How I Started:
One day I went shopping and didn't fit my normal size(12). Had to go to the plus size and that was the day I started working out. I went back to a size 6 and stayed there for about 3 years. Last year put back on 15 pounds and now trying to lose them but put on about 5-10 pounds of lean muscle.
Good luck with your training and diet.. ALWAYS remember, consistency is KEY. Thanks for comment about my daughter, she looks just like her dad. We want her to start gymnastic soon, she loves it too, always tumbling, and jumping all over the place.
I have been killing the legs, training as heavy as I can (Incorporated Smith squats, DB Lunges, knee touching the ground and ensuring that toe does not go over knee on working leg X 5 sets x 20 reps heavy). Split squat, step ups and sumo...KILLER, love it though. We have a similar goal, I want to wear short shorts and also keep my booty come summer. I have also tightened up my diet a bit, low carb, mod fat and high protein, my 6-pack is back :) and I am seeing cuts on my legs.
Awwww thanks :), I have been training with a friend who is an IFBB South Africa Pro and she is kicking my booty. We have been doing boot camp for two weeks (2 days/week), I can see a diff and I am doing kettlebell training with another buddy of mine
Wow! Thanks so much for the inspirational add! All the best with your fitness goals. I enjoy running but I try to avoid it as much as I can coz I loose too much weight and look stringy. I prefer the fuller look, so I walk on 15% incline/use the recumbent bike and I am seeing a diff on the booty..
Thanks for the add and glad i can be an inspiration :):) if you have any questions let me know. If not, take care and have a good week. Keep hitting it hard no matter what!
You are quite welcome. Thank you in return for accepting my friend invite. Much success to you in accomplishing all your health and fitness goals. Enjoy the rest of your week.
Hi Stayc. Thanks for the add! I hope your training is going well....if anything, hope you are enjoying some you time. The women on this site are great and I've picked up some great tips and lots of encouragement. Good luck.
