When I Started: Sep 2005
HOW I STARTED:

I was walking wit my girl in 05 and saw my reflection in a store window. I looked like a pencil at 145lbs. Always been slim since High School. I had to do something about it. Especially being with a HOT GIRLFRIEND like mine. Lol.

WHY I LOVE IT:

9miles of Pavement Pounding Action

Yesterday was a good day. I had a race in Central Park for the Colon Cancer Challenge Foundation. We had over 2000 runners show up for a 9.3 mile run/race in the park and boy was it hardcore. By the time of the race it was around 35 degrees and very cool in the park.  I did n't work out  from Thurs- Sun so I could be 100% for the race.  I can't complain. It went very well and was for an awesome cause. In april I have 3 races and I'm getting ready for a 13.1 mile race in Brooklyn in may. That should be exciting.

DICKHEAD/COCKY TRAINERS - WTF

Ok so me and my girl join a gym 2 weeks ago. Mind you I look very young for my age (30) and have been a NASM Certified trainer for about 4 years. Ran 2 Marathons. 


I'm doing sets with my girl and we are working out together when a trainer from the GYM instead of introducing himself interrupts me and and my girl and tells us "NO PERSONAL TRAINING IS ALLOWED, that its only restricted for the gym's trainers". I catch an attitude because I hate stop'n during sets and tell him, "you telling me I can't train my own girlfriend?" He backs up and tells

FOREARM PAIN DURING PREACHER / EZ CURLS

Hey gang. 


Yesterdays I did ARMS. Bi's % Tri's alternating. Love it. For the last couple weeks I've been getting horrible pain in my forearm during 2 moves. Machine preacher curls and EZ Curls. On EZ Curls, the pain shots from from elbow to wrist and feels like the bone is gonna explode/break/Pop out right after I'm down with a set. Not during. Same with Preacher Curls. The pain is intense once I'm done with a set. I read that it can be tendinitis and that my wrist are weak which I think are. I throw in hammer curls and wrist curls to strengthen the wrist but nothing.
