I've always been interested in fitness starting at a very young age. My mom would take us to the gym to work out with her starting when I was 10 yrs old. From then one, I started to learn over time about dieting and the impact of fitness and health. Most of my family is very obese, and they also have a lot of health problems which I believe is a direct result of their unhealthy lifestyles.
One of my goals is to become a certified personal trainer.
Why I Love It:
I like to see the physical changes that take place. I'm a very competitive person, so I think that's why I also enjoy it so much. I love it as much as I hate it sometimes.
How I Stay Motivated:
Thinking about why I want to lose weight in the first place. Half of it is health, while the other half is that I want to feel comfortable in my own skin.

I'm going to try and lose 30lbs in 3-4 months, and I would also like to find the right weight training program so I can gain muscle properly. I used to be a fitness freak till I joined the Army and became somewhat lazy since joining. Looking back, I think I did too much weight training and without the proper breaks in days. So any advice would be appreciated!
I've been having little health issues, and have been trying to take care of that at the moment. I just FINALLY got into the VA Hospital here for an appointment. It took long enough, in fact over a month in a half. So I get my physical next week, and go from there. I believe my issues of...
