It's going great actually! I've been working out everyday & running A LOT!!! Only time my injury really hurts is when I sprint... Thanks for the encouragement!!!

Oh yeah... Much better... Groin still gives me trouble when I run, but I'm working that out each day... Can't wait until it heals completely, but until then I'm gonna continue to train hard... Feels great to be back into the swing of everything again...

LOL What I'm trying to do?!? Just drop some weight... I love veggies so it's not that I won't eat them it's just trying to change it up so maybe my family will actually eat with me LOL

Thanks for the advice man... I've never really roasted veggies before, but have heard good stuff about it... I'm mostly a boil or steam kind of guy... Will have to try it out though... Any good recipes?

Oh also you know any good marinades? I've never used them, but would like to start...

Believe me I'll dig up some of my high school pics and you'll see how bad I was before the Corps... I begin my regular cardio next week, but I have to tone it down a lil' bit because of the oral surgery I had a few days ago... But once I can go full swing that's my money maker for fat-loss... You'll have to tell me about the "angry diet" LOL

I'm the same on cheat day & think that's what gets me... I start thinking of "the-way-it-was" & get the urge again... I grill a lot so I think that'll be my new approach it's healthy & tastes great... Not a mayo fan to begin with, but ketchup, mustard, and any hot sauce are my favs... Soy sauce also... Without getting a good diet down I'll never get my body fat down, you'd think that'd be enough motivation, but I swear I have an all-out food addiction LOL

The primary reason for the change was it was directly after 9/11 and I was just sitting on my ass waiting to leave... My Commander at the time agreed with me and immediately signed the papers... Said he hated to lose me, but couldn't blame me he'd be right behind me if he could LOL I've always had a deep respect for all the Services... I've wanted to be in since I was 5 so I got the bug early on... Army greens suck, but I don't have to wear 'em that often so it's not too bad LOL

Miss the Corps like Hell, but would have to have a rank reduction & with a family I have to take into consideration the financial strain. Thanks for the congratz. Nobody thought I’d make it. Enlisted at 250lbs. Got myself to 214lbs for MEPS. I was 181lbs out of Boot. Showed them though! LOL

Corps first. Didn't wanna leave, but mob’ed for Afghanistan three times & never went. Got pissed, found the first deployment I could, was with the Nat’l Guard. Deployed in 2002. Was going again 2004 but My wife and I lost my sons twin & I was pulled off mission. Sept06 I returned to Active with 3ID. Going to Iraq this Sept.

Yeah I try to stick to the basics... It always has worked for me in the past... In addition to that though I'm going to be running 5 days out of the week and also 2 ruck marches with up to 100lbs it's a smoker, but it really works well...

I'm in the Infantry in the U.S Army... I'm also a former Marine... I tore the blood vessels in my groin(not only the groin muscle, but also the family jewels)... Hurts a lot if you ever have the opportunity to do it jump off a cliff it'll hurt less!!! LOL I was at Special Forces selection when it happened... The worst part about it was I was 3 days away from finishing...
