I used to be a slim and sporty 120 lbs playing volleyball, softball, basketball, hockey, AND teaching dance. The past few years stress and (admittedly) laziness has packed on the pounds. I went from 120 to 193 at five foot two. Not pretty. Thanks to all of my sports I have a lot of muscle so I don't look as big as my weight says I am and I've been on the weight loss journey for awhile. I'm @ 175 now and have hopped on here to motivate and hold myself accountable to keep my success progressing and re-jumpstart my once healthy lifestyle.
Why I Love It:
Working out gives you a sense of pride and accomplishment like nothing else (not to mention how much better you feel about life in general). The harder you push, the better you feel... you know what they say... go big or go home :)
How I Stay Motivated:
I am one of those women that gets motivated and inspired by beautiful sporty girls with the kind of bodies I'd die to have... and the girls on this site definitely fit the bill!

I read your blog, and i gotta say the same things that the other folks have said, SQUATS, SQUATS AND MORE SQUATS!!! They have done wonders for many a booty seeking ladies i know. If you have any other questions, feel free to hit me up on e-mail. you SHOULD be able to see it.
Hello Squats and lunges!! They hit your glutes the best. The staight leg dead lifts help the tie ins. Good luck. OH YES NUTRITION will hel the other part!!
Squats with your feet a little further than shoulder-width apart puts more emphasis on the glutes rather than the quads. Stiff-legged deadlifts or Roman style deadlifts also target the hamstrings and glutes quite effectively. Hope that helps some.
