My very first goal in fitness was "to not be skinny." I hated being skinny. When I was still 18, I was a lanky 5 11 and weighed a mere 129 lbs. My girlfriend bruised my ego with constant jabs at my weight. I was embarrassed to take my shirt off. After we broke up, I vowed that nobody would ever call me skinny again. I didn't have a job so I made a home gym for under $10. Pure 3rd world style. The only thing I bought was a pull-up bar. Everything else I made. Milk gallons, broomsticks, schoolbooks (for weights) and a backpack were what I used for many months when I first started out.
Eventually I'd get a gym membership and I hit 155 lbs after the first 18 months of training. Over the next few years, my weightlifting would become nonexistent for months at a time. I tried to work out but it was almost impossible with my insanely hectic schedule. I was working up to 80 hours a week plus trying to start my own business. Not to mention moving over 10 times back and forth between Washington, Southern California, Texas & Guam.
(Bodybuilding Revelation #2)
In January 2009, I changed my personal philosophy on bodybuilding... Before this, fat was irrelevant to me. I didn't care. If anything, I thought a beer-belly would be comedic. As long as I wasn't being called skinny, I was happy. But it all changed after I realized how terrible my cardio had become... I'd gas after 2 minutes of boxing or grappling. A quarter-mile jog felt like a mile run. I knew I had to change...
And so for the first time in my life I started to work on my abs and cardio. And the difference is incredible. I'm starting to feel better as I slowly increase my gas-tank. I feel so much stronger and healthier... And I know this is just the beginning.
Why I Love It:
It helps when I wrestle with women.. ahah!
How I Stay Motivated:
1. The euphoric feeling that overwhelms me as I take in the spectacular beauty of a woman's flawless anatomy. So symmetrically perfect and aesthetically orgasmic that she leaves my soul in complete awe.
2. I'm inspired by those stronger then me... I am an extremely competitive person. Beat me in anything and I won't rest till I come out on top.
Current people on my hit-list:
a. My little brother who benches 331 lbs and weighs only 155 lbs...
b. My older cousin, Cory Caso, who beat me in arm wrestling at a strip-club in 2007...
3. And my dad who also beat me in arm wrestling at 46 years old(!)... never again!
BB Accomplishments:
1. Shrugs: 240 lbs 4 sets of 12.
2. Bench press: 245 lbs 10 times.
3. Bicep curling 140 lbs 10 times on iso-bench.
Working though TWO sprained thumbs I got from boxing. (I have to tape splints on my lifting gloves now..)

Goal (Long):
Focusing on my abs is currently my top priority. After all these years, I've worked on every major muscle group with one exception. My abdomen. All these years my abs were neglected.. I didn't care because I didn't know your midsection was used as much as it is. My fault for being so uneducated..
Another area of neglect for me has always been cardio. I've been working hard on it recently running 2 miles a day, gradually increasing the distance.. and I often add a boxing or grappling workout that usually lasts 1-2 hours. A few months ago I'd gas after a 3 minute round. I'm doing much better now. But I want to be a cardio-machine.. I need to.
I did my first ab-workout EVER just a couple months ago... And now I'm working like madman on them because I know I'm way behind. Nick has the craziest midsection on BodySpace.. I never cared about abs before, but now it's easily my #1 priority.. I WILL reach his level someday. I'm determined to for the first time in my life.
Josh is the same height and only a year older then me. I'd like to reach the same weight and bodyfat % as him.. I feel I've accomplished more this year then my previous seven combined. I was very inconstant before, taking at least a year off several times.. That will NEVER happen again. I hope to come as close to Josh's physique as I can within the next couple years... I've never been this inspired in my life. I'm ready!
My short-term plan is to cut 10 lbs from my rambunctious mid-section. My strategy involves 2 rigorous workouts added to my current weight-training program. Ab-work (every other day) and cardio (1 to 3 times a day) will be the basis of it all. Simple and yet pure genius. My fatty-fat-fat...
What an awesome idea for pictures. I like the Jason mask. I might start doing diffenrt masks too. Maybe Vendetta Mask. Cool idea, your looking ripped man.

Hey JASON! thanks! I appreciate it! Well, anything with resitance is great for the abs. I like to use sand balls for reverse crunches (lower abs). Upper abs (with lower abs): machine crunch and hanging leg raises!
I just wanted to let you know that I found your profile extremely entertaining (in a good way). First of all your progress alone is outstanding but your sense of humour is what really did it for me....you have an amazing way with words. I love your pictures (very unique/creative) and reading your 'hitlist' cracked me up. You sound like a really fun guy :)
Anyway, just sayin'....
All the best, Jason :)
Thanks Jason. I work hard to be strong but I work out right to keep the girly curves. A woman can be strong and still be sexy if she does it right. And not to many girls can bench more than they weigh and I can. Well I think the mask is kind neat. But you got some pics up of your face. I seen them. And you face is not bad.
haha you have great eyes. I had to squint to make out the text. I got them at Filene's...when they still existed :)BTW, what an AWESOME transformation. Keep it up!
haha really you think so! wow that is so sweet! haha i wish i had an agent i dont know how to get one... but i guess maybe one will come along in the future! you look so good already! your so muscluar, its hard for me to gain muscle. keep up the great work babe!
