When I Started:
Jul, 2008
How I Started:
I'm 33 years old. I live in Arizona. I was introduced to weight lifting in my Freshman year of high school, when I joined the track team. I was 14, and I've wanted to become a body builder or at least an underwear model ever since.
Why I Love It:
1. I like being part of the gym. There are a lot of hotties there.
2. I like seeing my strength improve as well as the way I look.
3. I like zoning out of anything that's stressful about my life and focusing only on how my body is feeling for the time I'm in the gym.
4. I feel like it improves my posture, and after working out, I walk around all proud and feel smug.
5. I even like feeling that nice body fatigue feeling, which lets me know I've put in a solid workout.
6. I actually feel taller, broader, and I know I puff out my chest. People probably think I'm coming on to them, but I'm just flexing.
How I Stay Motivated:
1. I read other people's bodyblogs
2. I watch movies that have an exercise montage in them, like The Peaceful Warrior.
3. I watch The Biggest Loser.
4. I walk by the men's underwear aisle at Target and look at the guys displayed on the packages.
5. I re-read books like Strength for Life and other fitness books I find at the bookstore.
6. I also like the book UltraMarathon Man and that genre of endurance athletes.
7. I use a self-hypnosis CD
8. I imagine myself buying some new clothes and I imagine how they'll fit and what it will feel like to wear them.
9. I use visualization

LOL.....I honestly don't know how I keep going on 5 hrs sleep either. My body's gotten used to it, & I simply can't seem to sleep longer (drats!!). I hope the drastic change-up helps you break thru your plateau. :)
Cutting fat, well lots of cardio and diet!portion control is paramount in making fat loss possible.Just be patient and all will come to you!Hope to hear from you soon,Michael.
good morning, i hope all is well with the temp job. how did i do it? i set up a time, 30 minutes to 1 hour every days, and give that time to myself, time for me to take care of me before i start taking care of everyone. if i don't have 30 minutes, i will give myself 15 minutes to take a walk.
hi, i just want to drop by and see how you are doing, well? how is training going for you? and that book that you mentioned in your profile, strength for life, must be a good book? you said you re-read it ;)
They will get bigger if you get fatter. They will get smaller if you get thinner.. I hear if you get pregnant and your boobs get huge they will eventually sag.
