I first got started in HS in my Dads basement with his old set and then I met my fiance Donny who took me out of the basement and to my first gym.
Why I Love It:
The feeling of being strong, knowing that if I push myself I can re-create my body and mind, knowing that its me in control of my workout and the outcome nobody else.
Not sure when in 2008 these were taken but not much has changed which means I'm severely slacking
This is after I had family guests and ate what they ate instead of my norm. So a lot of sugar and grease and an upset stomach is the result. Need to get back on track!
I want to wear low-ride jeans and a tight baseball tee and feel sexy!!
Goal (Long):
I have been struggling with my weight since I graduated Highschool in June 2003. I went from 150'lbs to 185lbs in less than 6months and still gaining more as it went on. It wasn't until my Pappy made a bet with my mom, sister and I that for a year we would get $10 for every pound we lost. Well I got on the scale for weigh-in and almost past out with shock. I was almost 250lbs! Then it struck even deeper when I tried walking on the treadmill. I couldn't walk more than 10 minutes without my knee's and ankles hurting.I lost a sad 5lbs in 1yr for that bet. Luckily I have lost 50lbs of the weight as of now but am still struggling. I'm going to start taking monthly pictures and holding myself accountable for results. I'm tired of not feeling comfortable in jeans and a tee-shirt!
No beating around the bush with her! CT tells it how she's sees it with no BS or sugar coating. I love how she is right to the point, no sacrifice no victory.
Just learning how this all works so be patient lol. I am so excited, I can fit in all my AE size 18 jeans! No more stretch unless in the gym with sweats! I'm starting to get back into the swing and have twirked my eating in with exercise. I just started messing around with the boxing room and...
I agree with u on that!!! It takes a lot of effort to keep each area of the training going!! I have had several fall backs during the last year. But, I know we can do it!!! How was ur weekend?
I don't know what program you are using but I wanted to mention that my wife (bodyspace: judimax) went from a size 12/14 to a 4/6 in 12 weeks and I lost over 50 lb in those same 12 weeks by following the Body for Life program. It is a 12 week body transformation program that is fairly easy to follow. I don't know if you had heard of it but I wanted to mention it just in case. I would like nothing better than to see you achieve your fitness goals. Believe and Achieve!
Hey ... Sometimes you have to have those days to realize how much crap food actually impacts you. It also healthy to enjoy some good food, and family company ....
Good luck with getting back on track, and hope you set a target for year end.
Best wishes, Ben
Things are going good. Taking today and tomorrow off from workouts. Will be back at it Tuesday morning. Other than that, workouts have been going great. I am pushing myself harder than ever and I am really liking the feeling from every workout. How was the visit with the family??
I just stopped by to wish you nothing but success as you work towards your fitness goal. Too many people think it can’t be done and so they don't even try but you are proving that with hard work and dedication it can be. Keep up the great work. I look forward to watching your continuing progress. You are a great inspiration to so many others.
Training is going great!! I recently started back up my heavy lifting program and added cardio to it. It has been going great since the start. How have you been doing?
