Basketball player growing up. Played in high shcool and college.I was very skinny. Started lifting in college, only cause coach made me. I didn't have a job the first month out here so I spent alot of my free time in the gym and reading bodybuilding magazines and that's where it started. Now I am preparing to compete in my first show in June 08.
Why I Love It:
I was a skinny kid, so watching my body grow has been crazy!!
How I Stay Motivated:
I want to see my body grow and try to get in the best shape I can.
BB Accomplishments:
13th Annual Far East bodybuilding Comp.
3rd place in light-heavies. First competition.
Well, its been 4 whole days since my competition and I been eating anything I can get my hands on. I have been eating BK for breakfast, popeyes, CoCo's (Curry house out here) everything. I am real sluggish and tired and usually just lay on the couch when I get home and look at some movies....
9 Weeks? Wow... I Would lose to much Muscle if I tried to cram a 16 week diet into 9... Click on the link on my profile and you will see my diet up till about 2 weeks out...
Damn you going Keto?!?!? You ever did that before? My metabolism is still candy, I am only 20, lol. I do 30 minutes of cardio in the morning and I just dropped carbs again to 160-165. Good luck bro. Tell me how that keto thing is working, I heard it works for alot of bodybuilders
Its on point like a swordfish, lol. Yeah, they my commander switched our schedule up and it works out really good for me and my prep. Carbs are still @ 200, but I am seeing vascularity in the arms, shoulders and striations in the chest; I my obliques/transversals are really poppin out with the abs. How about you?
Naw, not really; but I did not get real fat either. I got like 3 offseason pics on my progress pic portion. I kinda lost my abs, but when I diet down they pop right our again, bad timing too b/c I am on an island and there is nothing but beaches here, lol. How about you?
Yeah, I was told it's going to be held around Nov 22nd? I was going to prep for it but I really need to get a better duty schedule that will allow gym time ya know?
I am 6"1 and 235 (offseason) but hopefully 215 on stage. Losing weight isnt a problem 4 me, its just keeping the muscle mass on; but this time i think i got it. its about 7 of us from Lajes, AB competing @ the L.C
Hey welcome to TX bro! Everything is good on my side of the house. Well, with the exception that we entered into a lease with a home that is being foreclosed! long story...Hey if you need anything man let me know, my wife and I found a lot of places by being lost! Haha
Yeah, they have two pretty good gyms on base but with my crazy schedule it's easier to use Gold's free babysitting. My wife doesn't complain as much when I take the little ones..lol I do use the gym as well if I'm not working 12's at work.
I want to say it's the Lackland Classic. I met a couple of guys at Gold's and they are prepping for that show. It kind of re-motivated me to get my act together and get back in my routine. I'll check on base and see if they have a solid date.
Hey man, did you all find out what squadron your wife is going too? I wouldn't look forward to getting a sponsor. Myself and another MTL were left hanging to find our own way around. Texas is great though! They have two really nice gyms as well.
