When I Started:
Jan, 2004
How I Started:
Well initially i started working out for sports... to be bigger, stonger, and faster. After the summer of 2002 i lost alot of weight, suprisingly because of a summer job landscaping and not from working out. After i shed the fat i decided i would maintain my body at a minimum. Now i work for the government so not only do i have to maintain a healthy fit lifestyle, but i also run which is my real passion now. I never took running seriously as a kid or a teen, but i have developed a respect for endurance sports (running, tri-sports, and trail running). So that is what i work towards now... being a stronger runner.
Why I Love It:
At first it was for sports, then it somewhat turned into trying to be slimmer, more fit and better looking, and now its a combination of both. I also love the "high" from both lifting and running.
How I Stay Motivated:
I watch gymjones videos, watch the movie 300, look at myself in the mirror and keep focused on my goals of running and being in the best shape possible.
BB Accomplishments:
Not bodybuilding, but still an accomplishment... Ran 13.1 miles in 2 hrs and 24 minutes.

So people thought i was a bit crazy for taking it easy and getting sleep on New Years Eve... but i had a 5K to run... so i didnt want a hangover or the affects of drinking to impair my ability to run the morning after. So i ran hard and finished overall 13th among 412 other runners... i...
So... my workout program has changed significantly. I am not sure what it is geared towards now, but this is it...
Ill usually lift weights 6 days a week and also run 6 to 7 days a week with several cross training days incorporated into the program for cardio in place of running.
