Dec 2005 I was miserable, weighed 305 pounds, was on 4 different blood pressure meds and a CPAP machine to make me breath at night because I was so fat. I was 46% body fat and my waist was 50 inches. I'm almost 48 years old and figured I had one last chance or I would die before 60. I started on medifast and lost 42 pounds in the first month. Now, 14 months later, I'm 200 pounds, 12% body fat and waist is 32 inches. I plan to try and get more cut and get down to at least 10% body fat.
Why I Love It:
It changed my life.
How I Stay Motivated:
I look at my before pictures where I weighed 305 pounds. Also just looking at my progress in the mirror, feeling how my clothes fit. Also it's incredible the respect you get from people when you're ripped and weigh 200 pounds as opposed to being a fat worthless slob at 305 pounds.
BB Accomplishments:
Lost 110 pounds, went from 50 inch waist to 32 inch and went from 46% body fat to 12% and plan on getting a little lower.
I've already surpassed my goal by 40 pounds, started at 305 pounds with goal to get to 240. I'm currently between 195 and 200 pounds. Guess I need to set a new goal which will be to get to 10% body fat, unsure if weight will increase or decrease depending on how much muscle I can stack on.
Weight Goal:
I want to LOSE 5 lb
Bodyfat Goal:
8%

I do one body part a day. Day 1 is arms, 4 sets each for bi's and tri's, as much weight as i can get 8-10 reps out of. Day 2 is legs, again 4 sets each for quads, hams and calves, same on reps. Day 3 is chest, day 4 back, day 5 shoulders, then one or two days off. I do abs about every other day...
you are an inspiration mate. You do look very angry in your photos. Almost a smile in the last one though. Amazing the progress you have made. I feel lazy now sitting here looking lol.

Brian,
Awesome job! Your transformation is impressive. I know how you felt, I have
a machine that helps me breathe at night. I'm in my late forties (47) and I'm morbidly obese. I need to lose approximately(60-70)lbs to put me at a healthy weight.
Any suggestions for someone who's where
you used to be? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
John
Like my new pic?? Well I am sure you will bounce back, f**** yeah why not??? I am kicking asss and taken names and want to rip phone books and shhit in half, I love lifting, up to abput 230-240 give or take a ton of creatine, no juice just supplements, took my pics off because the old gym was using them saying I was their weight loss success, NOPE! NOWAY! NOHOW! Im at aspen now and love it, peace out man and stop EFFIN eating and hit some iron. Shhit, buy some dumbells or something............
Well, I'll post when Im ready, Im still wanting to get in alot bettert shape before doing that, JUICE? What are you talking about???? Orange juice? Anyway my back has been on the skillet for a week and it was a setback to say the least, I am hoping to slaughter it in the gym today so wish me luck.....
No one's going to be able to call you 'small' as it is now anyway, Brian. :) Do you have any specifics with your goals for getting larger or just see how things play out?
Now that summer's over, are you going to focus at staying in the shape you currently are or will you go for the bulking phase that many people do? You've got a boatload of muscle as it is, so the goal to get bigger might not be there.
I scrutinized your photos. What lose skin are you talking about?????You look absolutely amazing. I am going to the gym first thing in the morning. THANK YOU1
