Overall Goal: I want to compete and win NPC Bodybuilding shows in the Master's Division. I want to put on 15 pounds more of muscle in the next 5 years and keep my body fat in single digits.
It all started when I noticed that I weighed almost 300 pounds, most of which was fat.I finally decided to change that after watching a bodybuilding DVD. I knew I could change my body if I truly wanted to and dedicate myself to the task at hand. I am 46 years old and I am now seeing the change coming.
Why I Love It:
I love bodybuilding because it all comes down to what I put into it. It's challenging on all levels. I was never the best athlete on the block so I allowed myself to believe that I could never win anything. I now know that it is up to me. I now know that to win I must work hard and be dedicated to my sport.
How I Stay Motivated:
I want to become an inspiration to all 40 plus year old fitness peers. I will be 47 in October and this age group needs examples of how to stay lean and fit. I am looking to launch my own website next year.
BB Accomplishments:
I competed at The Los Angeles Bodybuilding, Figure and Fitness Championships in Culver City, California on July 18, 2009. I was disqualified at the PreJudge but I came in at 207 lbs. I transformed my body and achieved my goal of stepping on stage. Next goal is to get totally shredded.

Goal (Long):
I have always carried a large amount of body fat. At 46 I have decided to change it and lose it. I will cut my body fat in half, 12.5% by April. I plan to rotate my carbs and use various methods of cardio, i.e. interval, straight time, stepmill, treadmill, recliner cycle. I will eventually add a second cardio session in a day to reach my goal percentage of nine percent. The stepmill will be my staple because works miracles for me.

I am training hard to reach my goals of having a thicker back and bigger legs. I am 6' 1" and 47 years old which presents some challenges in the gym. I have learned over time that variety and angles are truly very useful when trying to add mass and reduce fat. Diet rules the...
My current workout begins with a 60 minute cardio session on an empty stomach I burn NO less than 1027 calories each morning. I use the Stepmill due to the excellent way it tones body and sheds body fat. On lunch hour I lift weights at my second gym located near my work place. I go heavy to...
