How I Started:
Done lots of running, swimming, yoga, etc. in the past, but I just started picking up heavy things and learning what this is all about. I'm just getting started, but I love it :)
Why I Love It:
I love the sense of achievement in improving physical strength, and I think that everything gets easier/better as a result. Everything... Not just the physical stuff!
How I Stay Motivated:
It's so much easier when you have a training partner who you don't want to let down on the lazy days! I didn't find anyone yet, so bodyspace is my partner. You all do me so much good, thank you!!!

Ha ha!!! Yeah right! I'm 6ft tall and only just weigh over 150lbs.

Posted as my 'starting point', an old shot as I rarely pose for photos without my shirt on! I'd been doing a lot of yoga and had injured my back. A bulging lower back disc had the effect that my rib cage was off centre above my hips as can be seen in the photo. I didn't know what the problem was at ...

Goal (Long):
I think I have to work toward size/weight/strength gain at first, get leaner later?! That kinda makes sense to me, but of course I wanna eat right on the way, and eat big at the moment as I wanna gain weight.
Weight Goal:
I want to GAIN 40 lb

I doubt I'll ever want to compete. It's enough to do it for itself.
It's become almost a cliche to cite this lady as an inspiration, but my goodness, how could she not be?! The fantastic level of fitness which she has sustained through years of training is done without thought of competition and for herself alone... She continues to see amazing results, which only further hone what is already an incredible physique. I know you do this for yourself CT, but in setting such great example of what can be achieved... You inspire many.
We started out from pretty much the same height and weight, but I'm ten years behind! Just look at this guy!!! He's gained muscle mass, he's ripped up, and he's in superb shape. He's a role model, and that is inspiration.
I got set up with a program from a trainer when I joined the gym. I've modified it since but that was my base. I might talk to someone in a while to get a bit of variety, put some changes in.

In the depths of my mind... And on the shelves of the grocery store... I nearly never follow a recipe, but I may try some soon, Tosca Reno :)
Yeah, my weekend was great thanks. Hope you had a good one. Glad to hear your back at the gym but don't forget how much moving n stuff can take it out of you and try not to over do it.

Wow, I bet! Moving house is hard work and can take its toll. Hope you settle in and get back into some sort of routine quickly.
