When I Started:
Sep, 1995
How I Started:
I was borderline anemic when I joined the baseball team in high school. It was basically sink or swim trying to keep up with the training that fall. I stuck with it despite several bouts of vomiting and several days of being too sore to walk. I soon saw tremendous results in both my appearance and my energy and I have been addicted to working out ever since.
Why I Love It:
Intellectual matters have always come easily to me. I feel that when I work out, I need to work hard to earn the results that I get. My genetics make it very difficult for me to put on muscle mass, so when I continue to increase the amounts that I can lift I can quantify how disciplined I am.

Thanks for the comment! It shouldnt be too hard to gain muscle as a veg, the key is supplementation. Im a vegetarian, not a vegan, so I eat egg whites, drink whey protein shakes, and soy products contain protein, too. My Boyfriend has been an ovo/lacto vegetarian for over 10 years and is quite muscular, he works out WAY harder than I do, I just need to step it up, lol!
Wow Keith, thank you for the honor of first friend, and first comment! I appreciate the kind words as well. Best wishes for continued success with your training. Hope you have a good week! Drop by to say hi if you have a chance - I enjoy getting to know my new friends ~ Jen
