How I Started:
My boyfriend (who is also a member) started to work out to improve his physique around the middle of 2006, and I decided it was time for me to improve mine also. I have a fear of ending up like my 50-year-old mother weighing about 200 lbs at 5'6". I want to be healthy for now and for life.
Why I Love It:
I love being one of the only girls in the gym that hits the weights while the cardio bunnies run imaginary laps on a treadmill, going nowhere, literally and fitness-wise.
How I Stay Motivated:
Guilt! If I don't go to the gym for no good reason, it makes me feel like I'm skipping class or work or something else I KNOW I need to be doing. Plus, the recomp contest is great motivation!
BB Accomplishments:

I originally put my first pics for the contest in the regular photo spot, however I saw that other people were putting them in progress pics, so I decided to do both.
I WILL win the BB.com Recomp Contest ending on July 31st, 2008.
Goal (Long):
I have made a lot of progress in the past four months, and the contest is just what I need to keep me on track. I want to gain a bit more muscle, but get down to about 15-18% bodyfat so I can show off all that sexy muscle! Pounds don't matter as much to me any longer because I know that I am adding muscle and can't rely on the scale to tell the difference between pounds of fat lost and pounds of muscle gained.
What type of outfit do you usually wear when you workout? Why?
T-shirt, slim fitting but stretchy pants (so I can do squats without splitting them! :P ) and 2 sports bras, since one just isn't gonna cut it.

What is your cardio exercise plan?
On every workout day except if there's is a specific leg-only day (leg day is cardio in my book!), do one session of increasing duration of HIIT after weight training.

What supplements do you take immediately before your workout? Why?
No supplements before working out, however I take the VPX Meltdown in the morning before I eat anything (because that's what the bottle suggests).
haha yeah we were definitely less than optimal starting out! Honestly I have no idea where I stand, or where anyone stands, since I don't really know how exactly they are judging us. I know how hard I have worked and how much I have improved so I am hoping that will suffice. I'm a little worried about the public voting being 50% of it because I don't have many friends on this forum like some of the others do. Oh and I'm single now =\

I'm gonna have to say that your face looks completely different now than in your Jan pics as well. Looks like it's time for the beach Sin! It's great not having all that extra fat ain't it? I felt like such a cow in January lol, now I feel amazing and I'm sure you do too! Good luck during July and I hope everything goes well for you.
