When I Started:
Jul, 2001
How I Started:
Started off just playing with it in high school, I got serious about it for summer and fall of 03, then stopped until summer of 06', and here I am now. Tired of looking like the skinny guy, I'm bulking up as much as possible to stick it to all those who taunted me cause of my lack of size.
Why I Love It:
Because I get bigger and stronger!
How I Stay Motivated:
Doing better each day, helping my girlfriend Sinsational and my good friend Mike in the gym, and them pushing me harder.
BB Accomplishments:
Actually making the commitment.

I want to get bigger by gaining as much muscle and strength as possible.
Goal (Long):
I want to gain 40 lbs from when I started becoming incredibly dedicated (114lbs) so I can reach 150, and maybe go beyond that. I grew up severely underweight and skinny, and I still am. My wrist is only 6 inches around, my hand 6 1/4" long and palm 3" wide. Hips are 34", and my elbow breadth is 1.75 inches! I'm in the rock-bottom percentile for skeletal size, and it is frustrating to me to be so interested in strength and health and have it so so hard to reach. Perhaps the strongest influence was a cruel barb from a now-ex: "You should work out so I don't feel I'm with a little boy." I push hard to leave that old me behind. I want strength, I want power, I want size, and I want the health that comes with it... and it will be mine.
What type of person at your gym annoys you the most? Why?

What celebrity body would you most like to have? Why?

Which pro bodybuilder/fitness/figure competitor has the ideal physique? Why?
I think quite a few of the big-name natural competitors look great. Layne Norton, Ulisses Williams, Jim Cordova, Skip Lacour, Tom Venuto. Why? Because they took their strengths and capitalized on them, and brought up weaknesses well to create a balanced physique. In terms of classic physiques, Frank Zane. Best things I've found Blake - Check out Derek Charlebois' contest prep section on bb.com. Great info. And the basics?
Eat well. 50% of your cals should be good carbs, at least a 1:1 ratio of protein/lbs bodyweight, and of course, good fats.
Perfect your form, and play around with high volume (12-15ish reps/set) or heavy (6 reps, give or take) to see which seems to hit your muscles better. Then do it. Ya gotta squat, dead, bench optional
