My journey began about a month ago.I volunteered to run a 10k and got hooked the moment I crossed the finish line. In order to do more running I realized that I needed to be in great shape. That was when I met and became friends with a fantastic person named RACHEL. She got me started on eating clean and working out on a regualr basis. She has really been my catalyst. I set a goal and I will carry it out. I meet my new trainer tomorrow (12 may 08) and will take some big steps on my fitness journey. I'm in it for the long haul....I hope that if you are tracking me... you enjoy the ride. It's going to be fabulous!!!!!
Why I Love It:
I love it because being healthy just feels good. I am just getting started and I already feel a change. I can't wait to see what being healthy a month from now will feel like! :)
How I Stay Motivated:
For some reason I have a lot of drive to do this. I set a goal to run a 10k without stopping. I DID IT!!!! Then I set a goal to eat healthy, to eat clean and I AM STILL DOING IT!!!! I set a goal to transform my body not because I think I am ugly and fat, but because I want to be/live healthy. I CAN DO THIS! I WILL DO THIS! My motivation is knowing that if I don't change now, I may not be around to make the change later.

You will find it's a lot easier to carry things mentally when you aren't carrying around so much physically.

This pic makes me laugh... I am just letting Rachel turn me in all different directions and snap my pics, but in this one it kind of looks like I am scared to use the stairs for fear of muscle gain!!!
I know there is muscle somewhere underneath the fat! Hello? Muscle? Are you in there?
I am happy to see that you have such a positive attitude and I look forward to watching your progress. Take lots of pictures as you continue your fitness journey, as you will enjoy looking back and watching how you changed in so little time. If I can be of any assistance feel free to give me a yell.
My wife (bodyspace judimax) and I would love to see you make your fitness goals and dreams become reality. My wife went from a size 12/14 to a 4/6 and I lost over 50 lbs and went from 36 to 10% bodyfat in just 12 weeks by following the Body for Life program. Push yourself; possibly out of your comfort zone and you may be amazed at the results and the speed that they can occur. Give either of us a yell if you wish.
