Overall Goal: I just want to get back into shape my goal is still a body weight of about 245lbs to 225lbs. I really feel better when I train so I am going to be feeling great going forward.
I started in High school coming out of Jr High I was carrying more fat than i liked I got involved in Football and knew to better I needed into lift weights
Why I Love It:
I love the way it makes my body look and feel and its just fun to push yourself to be better each workout , each week.
How I Stay Motivated:
My family support, Co Workers and just being at the Gym and seeing folks push themselves it just get me going.
BB Accomplishments:
None in bodybuilding I was State Power Lifting Champion

Goal (Long):
Over the last 2 decades I have allowed myself to gain a great deal of weight over a 100lbs and now its time to get my life right.
I also want get back into powerlifting again I was Teenage state champion and want to get competitive again and get my championship form back.
Weight Goal:
I want to LOSE 100 lb
Bodyfat Goal:
12%

What is the one tip you would give somebody who is just getting started?
Get a quality personal trainer or gym rat to show you some of the basics and train for you not to impress anyone or to copy anyone. Trust me on this one especially now a days

Training to many days in a row in addition to the sports i was in can you say over trained

The equipment and the folks are great pros, the cons the people wh ar not there to workout but there to socialize more than train, put the damn cell phone down and lift

I am currently training with HIT for both Cardio and Weights the reason I gone to HIT (High Intensity Training ) is because of the quick results you can achieve. Dont get me wrong it is hard work but it will be worth it and the results will show quickly i Know.
thanks again for the encouragement, I kind of got disappointed last week because I got my full eval. and found out I gained 5lbs, but I am assumeing its muscle cause I feel stronger, and notice I am getting toned. So I am just gonna push for more cardio to see if I lose inches, do you think I should still use Whey protein in my everyday use?
I know what you mean. I need to get it in gear. I have slacked off this winter and that bikini is haunting me.
I couldn't image trying to put that thing on when the jeans don't even fit right anymore.

thank you for the friend request:) I may be at the prejudging and was a judge at the last show in November. Preparing for either the June or November show this year...you should definitely compete at some point it is the only way to really become disciplined and taking your body to a whole other level:)) good luck with all your fitness goals.
I will be there this Saturday!.. not on stage- I'll be there wishing I was stage ready. LOL
I had plans for March but life got in the way.
We have a friend who is doing this one so me and the hubby will be there for support. :)
