How I Started:
Got sick and tired of being sick and tired, picked up weights with a personal trainer, been hooked eversince.
Why I Love It:
I tend to overanalyze and get mentally fatigued.... working out allows be to bring some form of balance back into my life. Challenging the body is fantastic, and lets me meet like minded fitness enthusiasts.
How I Stay Motivated:
Music, Goals, knowing that when I'm working out I'm in my zen mode. :)
I want to train to run a 5k this upcoming summer, and not feel godawful right after. In the meantime, I also need to find that mental balance again.. perhaps yoga/meditation might help some, as it feels I have been all over the place lately. Continue working out at the gym with weights.
Get a grip and learn about clean eating vs calorie counting damnittttt!
After what seems like a haze to me, am finally back on track. Gorgeous weather today.. went for a jog and came back feeling damn good and strong. About goddamn time.
