Background

When I Started: Nov 2008
HOW I STARTED:

I began with the motivation and desire of having a six pack abs. I started with basic body weight conditioning. Finally settled down with a routine in Never Gymless from RossTraining.com Finally joined a gym in started weight lifting November of 2008.

WHY I LOVE IT:

I love the atmosphere of the gym. Especially the one I am going. I love living hardcore. I love the pain. I love the strength gains I make setting goals to go heavier and piling on the weights for warm up that is the next guy's max.

Beginning Again

Posted in General  :  Nov 06, 2011 4:54pm

Hey guys,

So I am back this time hopefully with a vengeance. Things has been really hard and motivation is at its lowest along with fatigue, stress, and everything you can imagine. Workout has been inconsistent, doing one routine this week and the another the next without even completing it. Trying to see what I like and can stick to because lately workout has just been so boring to me. It doesn't make me alive as it once use to be. Any of yall have that feeling?

After searching around for a while looking for a structured program I came to the conclusion that hey,

DC TRAINING

Posted in root  :  Jan 13, 2011 4:39pm
Finished my 1st cycle of DC. I feel great. The work is short, sweet and intense. My strengths are exploding. My chest has always been my weak area. I am going to go into the gym with the mindset hitting the chest with more intensity and concentration=more weights and heavy! Stay tuned!

Arnold Schwarzenegger + Dorian Yates = DC(DoggCrapp) Training?

Posted in root  :  Jan 13, 2011 4:39pm
I've tried Dorian Yates' style of HIT. After a while I decide I need more strength, a LOT more. So I went to Max-OT for a while and decided to come back to HIT after I gain some considerable strength. Then I started reading into Arnold's Encyclopedia book. I learn very interesting things including the value of frequency and the importance of Power Training. I've tried some of Arnold's Philosophies. This led me to Dante Trudel's DC training. I've only tried DC style training on once back in 08. I was still considered a kinda beginner and intermediate trainer. But now I have had almost 4 years o...

bearagun
bearagun You should be able to tweak your food intake. Eating 8 meals is a little too much. A shake supplement is considered a meal as far as I know...as long as it's a protein shake. Feb 19, 2012 10:29pm

MrMontana98 Training tips I have for later. But diet is straight up easy from the get go. Keep it clean Monday thru Friday. All the time 365. Makes it way easier to get ready for a show. Also, keeps you tighter and you can see changes a lot easier. Doesn't mean ripped all the year round. Just keep the diet clean. Jul 7, 2010 12:57pm
Ascent81
Ascent81 There is no specific rule for ordering fat and protein ratios. My only recommendation would be go for healthy fat sources like whole eggs, peanut butter, flaxseed oil - but red meat is fine too. My fat-protein ratios end up being pretty equal on low carb days. Keeping your fat intake high on low carb days will give you good energy and keep you anabolic. Jul 4, 2010 10:28am

MrMontana98 I hate to admit it...but I haven't had a TV for several years. I was thinking of John Locke the famous libertarian philosophy during the enlightenment period. So I had to look up John Locke the character from Lost. Well I know the actor and he is pretty good. I guess I am not looking as young as I used to. In either case philosopher or character, I guess neither is such a bad comparison. Feb 14, 2010 12:00pm

MrMontana98 Never been told I look like John Locke before. I have to admit I am very surprised you are savvy about Vince Gironda. He is a legend from a different time. Seems as if you got a solid foundation already. No doubt great things will come your way! Feb 11, 2010 2:48pm
