I split up the intervals in many ways..just whatever I feel like doing to keep from getting bored. Sometimes I'll run for 30-45 seconds and then I'll jog for 1 minute, alternating those. But um this past weekend I went out clubbing with some friends :) did u do anything fun?

Oh I feel ya! I've been avoiding the stairmaster too..not a big fan, but you gotta do what you gotta do lol..but yeah I've been incorporating intervals into my cardio..and its paying off majorly..love them!!

Oh wow you have your own teams? Thats really cool. Are both of your teams good? And no I stopped playing softball last summer after my senior year of high school. I turned down a softball scholarship for an academic one..and I miss playing ball.

Hey! Thanks for the add. Softball and volleyball are my two favorites as well. I played softball in high school..I really wish I could have played volleyball in high school but in my state they are both played in the fall.

ohhh i have sympathy with you on the shin splints..they suck! So how long do you do your cardio workouts for on the stairmaster or the elliptical? Do you do intervals or anything on them?

Glad to hear that your training is going well. And just stick to it and you lose body fat and gain muscle..but yes, I'm definitely on track to my goal although I just rededicated myself to eating well and training properly again. I lost 10 lbs in 2 weeks. So I'm eager to see what else I can do in another 2 weeks.

ha well thanks :) but yeah I think upping your cardio will def benefit you if you can't stick to eating clean. I pretty much do the same cardio as you. I do 3 different types of ellipticals, the stairmaster occasionally, and I run 2-3 miles a day just because I love to. lol

Ha ya tell that to my parents! They werent too happy after spending all that time and $$ for me to quit. Pitcher huh? I used to pitch and I was pretty good when I did, but I hated the pressure of it and I hated lessons, so I quit. I'm def more of a hitter. Thats what I'm best at. I usually hit in the 3rd slot..sometimes 2 or 4. How bout u?

I turned it down because I got burnt out. I played select softball on traveling teams since I was 8 years old, playing 10 months out of the year, just got tired of it. But, outfielder huh? Not my forte! I was an infielder...2nd baseman mostly! Hows your hitting?
