hey buddy. haven't talked to you in a while. I've been away working. I've not touched a weight in like 2 months. I'm hoping to get back into it in the next week or so. how're things with you?

Masters, eh? In what? I need to get a bachelors in something. I've gone pretty far without one, but it's getting down to the wire where I'm going to need one. I'm giving my shoulder a break until Wednesday. I was going to workout today, but I still feel a little pain in it.

Nothing really. Lose job on next Friday. I took a week off. Maybe I'll get back into the swing of things next week.

Other than my shoulder still hurts, nothing new. I've been real tempted to quit lifting. I just can't get this gut down. I'm picking up some muscle, but I'm around 241 again, which I didn't want to be. My pants still fit loose, but my weight isn't where I want it to be.

Just been curious. What's your workout looking like? I don't have a set one because I have a PT right now. I don't think I'm going to keep going with him after my contract is up though. I can't really afford to keep doing this right now.

my weight is increasing. Unfortunately, the muscle I'm picking up is accentuating my gut. Can ya tell that I'm concerned about that gut? Other than that, not a whole lot to report.

I'm making a little progress. I'm gaining weight, but my waist size is staying down around 34. My arms are picking up some mass in them though. My gut is still very prominent.

Key word there is hard. My shoulder is bothering me. I benched 185 again for 5 reps with my shoulder hurting. I really should have stopped.

I've gained 13 pounds. I figure most of that is muscle. My gut hasn't gotten any bigger and my waist is still 34.

Hey bro It's going. I did something to my shoulder, so when I do bench press it hurts some. I push thru the pain, but I'm not sure I should be doing that. Other than that, I'm doing well with it. I'm seeing some nice improvement in legs and arms. I'm not gaining muscle, but I'm toning up what I have, so I guess that's not bad. How about you?

Yup. I fall into the "average" category for body type. Oh well. Going to make the most of it. I put on muscle fairly decent.

Yeah, I know. I just wish I was as lean as you are. But my frame is just too big for that. I really wish I could get rid of this damn gut.
