When I Started:
Jan, 2006
How I Started:
It all started with the Freshmen 15, unhealthy habits, and an unhappy lifestyle. I decided something had to give, otherwise I was on the straight and narrow to a heart attack and diabetes.
The rest is history.
Why I Love It:
I'm addicted to this lifestyle...that's really all there is to it.
There's no upper limit to how far you can push yourself. There's always someone bigger and better to idolize and model yourself after. There's so much character that's built with every rep powered through, callus torn, calorie counted, and pound gained or lost. Every minute doing this is a minute that helps me grow in some new and different way. When I think I'm at my best, I know in the back of my mind I can be better...there's always that new challenge.
How I Stay Motivated:
The knowledge that hundreds of thousands of people in this world walk alongside me in this endeavor. It's like having a HUGE family that keeps growing. Every time I meet someone, whether they are just starting out or are long time members of this family, I feel my inspiration grow.

I finally did my first competition, and due to the constraints of school I probably won't be doing another one until next summer (or even next year), which means one year to gain some mass and get in awesome shape! My biggest problem isn't getting to the gym and doing my workouts-I'm there 6 days a week working my ass off-it's my eating. I'm about 95% clean, but I'm still trying to find that balance that allows me to stay trim while not being drained of energy.
I want to fill out a men's medium tee :).
I can't remember the first time I saw a picture of Jamie (it was in one of my magazines), but ever since that first time I've aspired to create a body like hers! She's the perfect combination of strength and femininity, and I know it only comes through endless hours of HARD WORK! Thank you Jamie!
I can't believe it's already here, in 10 days I will be stepping on stage for my first figure competition! I put on my suit and shoes the other day to practice posing and I swear my heart started racing from the excitement (and a little bit of fear) of the coming event. I haven't taken...
Some vegetarians eat dairy, eggs, or even fish. But the Vegans are the strict one who DO NOT eat ANY products that come from animals! A B12 supplement is mandatory with them.
Its amazing the difference the tan makes!!! I know how being depleted can make training tough...you're pretty much just running on excitement!!! How many weeks left??
