You know it really just depends on you and your body as well. For me it was the most effective when I cycled bulking and cutting phases because I am naturally very thin so it's difficult for me to gain weight unless I eat quite a bit. What's your body type? Gain easy? Naturally lean? Medium?

So IMO you could go about it three ways 1) Google or go to the forums and check out the Zig-zag diet 2)Do a building phase where you are only focused on gaining muscle and then do a cutting phase after or 3) The way I go about it is to eat extremely clean but lift and eat just enough calories to gain muscle and cut fat at the same time(but in a very slow process). Message me if you want more details but good luck!

Honestly it's quite difficult to do both at the same time.. define your abs and get bigger. Getting bigger requires you to be eating more calories than you're burning and getting your abs to show requires decreasing your bodyfat percentage.

I broke my wrist pretty bad. I was in a cast 4 1/2 months and had to get surgery on it. So now I'm trying to transform my body while being very careful about rehabilitating the left wrist and arm.

yup I am also LDS and thanks for the challenge but I have committed myself and my goals and made a lot of people aware so if I stop in week 2 I will definitely be hearing about it from them. Sodomy expect me to fall before my 99 days is up but DO expect me to be calling upon you for support. Thanks, Ryan

You are looking wonderful yourself! Very impressive and inspiring. I was just showing my mom how amazing a lady just a couple years younger than her can look when dedicated to hard work. Congrats! You could be an icon.
