hey dave, I dunno how the bench goal is going. I meant to do more benchpress, but the gym is always crowded. I've been doing other press and fly exercises along with the usual dips though. We'll see how it goes. 250 isn't much weight, but we'll see. How are your goals coming along?

From what I've observed on this website and elsewhere, all those bad*ss looking guys with the f-ing huge arms, shoulders, backs, pecks, and ripped abs, have been working out for at least 4 - 5 years. That seems to be the typical threshold. Invest the time. Be patient.

If what you're doing isn't working, then do more. And be patient. It always seems to me that I look the same at the end of the month as I did at the beginning. It's after a year, two years, that the difference REALLY shows. Give it time, work hard, and don't give up. You'll get where you want to be.

Doing well. Been making some HUGE progress since I left TSA. Finally curled the 70's, did 61 consecutive dips, did 25 consecutive pullups, gained about 5 pounds, dropped bodyfat even lower. School's rough, a lot of work, but I'm hanging in there. What about you? I haven't seen any updates in a LONG time.

I JUST found your comment in my blog. 3000 calories is a TON!!! Wow. How's it working? No need to go too heavy on the shoulders. It's my understanding some of the best pro's would use 20 - 25 lb dumbbells (sometimes 30s) but not more. Deb never called or texted me.

What happened to the shoulder? You're looking much better than when you started. Abs and arms are much more defined. How's Sport's Authority?

Thanks, Dave. I'll probably reach 18.5 inch arms eventually, but I dunno about 2011!! But if it happens, then GREAT. Remember, about a half inch of that gain was from when I went from measuring relaxed to measuring flexed (like most guys on here do). GREAT JOB gaining a pound while lowering your bodyfat! That's always awesome.

Goals are going ok. Got my bodyfat down, would like it a little lower. Maxed out a few machines at the gym. Still haven't curled the 70 lb dumbbells, but I've given myself to the end of the year to accomplish that goal. Slow and steady progress and plenty of patience is what it's all about . .. . . I think.
