Background

When I Started: no information entered
HOW I STARTED:

In October 2001 after quitting smoking again, and getting off depo, and living a life of always being overweight and lacking any knowledge of nutrition, I started working at a vitamin shoppe... at 185lbs. That same fall i started doing what has become the most important thing in my life, tribal style belly dance. I lost 60 lbs on the atkins diet and dropped 12% bf over the next year. Now i teach and perform tribal bd and bounce back and forth between 140-150 lbs... proud that i have for the most part kept off alot of the weight and slowly gain muscle.

WHY I LOVE IT:

My dad is a marathon runner, and i also enjoy running, although i have bad knees and broke a foot 6 yrs ago. This makes cardio a bitch. However i like to swim, i have my scuba license. And i love to lift... funny isn't it. I feel in control and powerful, and every year i get stronger.

NEW YEAR DAMNIT

So, I havent blogged on here in oh.... 5 years maybe? Starting over- again. Which is good. Except, Im sick... really sick, cold or something. SO.... started day with luna bar and a cup of coffee... went back to bed. Gonna walk to health food store, buy soup... drop stuff off at post office (all on foot)- go back to bed. Have Cambells homestyle soup.... you guessed it- bed. Play skyrim, eat ice pops and drink water and pedialite. Bed. Gotta clean all the cold infested bed sheets but just writing this is giving me the motivation to start my days journey... at 3pm lol. Oh took vitamins. till tomo...

Jan-Aug '07 Currently using a program described here on BB.com after platueing ( was doing push/ pull for 6 months, then i did day1) chest/shoulders 2) arms 3) back 4) legs for 3 months ) Now i do: Monday: shoulders/ bi's 20min cardio Tuesday: chest/back/bi's 20min cardio Wednesday: 30m. cardio/ legs / abs (note: i alternate every other week is squats/ de-cline press and hack squat... then the next leg day is all machines, press/ inner/outer thigh/ extensions etc. this is so i can walk the next day since the cardio almost never stops and besides i teach and perform dance, with a once broken fo...
