Shifisu Currently following the DTP diet (bulking) and following my own training routine. 6 weeks to go before cutting. Gained 5 kilo in 6 weeks

  • what kind of strength gain have you noticed with the dtp? is your training set like his?

  • I am only following the DTP diet since i found it to be a realistic and well thought out bulking diet. My workout days are as followed:
    Monday=Quads/Calves/Abs
    Tuesday=Back/Shoulders (Maintenance intensity)
    Wednesday=Squats/Calves (11 working sets on Squats)
    Thursday=Chest/Arms (Maintenance intensity)
    Friday=Hamstrings/Calves/Abs
    Weekend=Rest

    I was demotivated from training and diet for about two months and i needed a workout schedule to get me motivated again. Legs were my favorite bodypart so i decided to do them twice a week devided over three days. My upperbody is currently on a maintenance intensity to prevent overtraining. In the last six weeks i gained 5 kilos. And since i measured my bodyfat before and after i can say that of those 5 kilos only 500grams is fat. Noticed a nice difference in my legs and i'm super motivated again! I'm getting stronger every week, even on my maintenance bodyparts.

    I'm going to follow this program for 3 more weeks (Did it for 8weeks total then).

    I'm not really a hardgainer but i think its very interesting to do. During those 4 weeks i will still be following the DTP diet.

    After that i will be cutting down to about 8% bodyfat and from there i will slowly be bulking. Only being a little bit higher then my maintenance daily kcal.
