Background
I've always been into sports. I played college volleyball. Once my career ended, I continued hitting the gym, but my workouts weren't too intense and they were boring. Once I met my boyfriend (now husband), who's a personal trainer, he got me training a lot harder and doing different rountines. Now, I'm in the gym a lot and loving it.
I love seeing the changes in the body. I love how I feel when I get done working out. I know that it is helping me to stay healthy.

Life After Baby
Posted in Training : Apr 30, 2012 4:14amWell, it's been a while since I've sat down and typed up my thoughts. Granted I've had numerous things on my mind about my body, diet, and training ever since I've had my baby over 7 months ago. I've posted an entry or two after I got back into the gym once I got clearance from my doctor. I've made great strides ever since.
Looking back, at not only life post baby, but at my pre baby. I trained hard, but didn't train right. I ate all the right foods (besides some cheats), but I didn't eat enough for my body. Gradually my we

Posted in Training : Jan 05, 2012 1:08pmWell, I've been back at the gym now for some time now. I'm happy with my progress but things could always be better. I know I've lost the weight that I gained during my pregnancy which is good news. I'm now onto my other goal now of losing more bodyfat. I know my profile pic shows me in my competition form, but I'm nowhere near that. I was probably close to 6-8% of bodyfat in that picture. I'd love to get around 12-15% and be able to maintain it without having to do cardio 2 times a day for the rest of my life. I'm getting my definition back in my a

Posted in Training : Nov 28, 2011 5:08pmWell, I thought things were going well. I was lifting heavy 5 days, cardio 6 days with 2-3 days of HIIT, and eating clean for the first 3 weeks back. I stepped on the scale at the start of week 4 only to see that I've only dropped 1 pound! I couldn't believe that! I was pissed. My strength and endurance were coming back so I was sure that I had dropped at least 3-5 pounds. So I evaluated what I was eating... Here was my meal plan for the 3 weeks.
Meal 1: 4 egg whites and 1 yolk, 1 cup spinach, 1/2 cup oatmeal, 1/4 cup blueberries
