Recovering from post pardum depression. I wanted off the meds although they helped. I read that exercise could help with moode disorders. In addition I was apx. 40 pounds over weight and wanted to loose the pregnancy weight. The first year and a half I just did cardio. Lost most of the weight but was stuck at about 140 pounds. It was not until I discovered weight training that my body started to transform. Now I realize that if I want to take my body to the next level I need to put down all the crap I eat daily and eat clean. Also stepping up the lifting at this point to build more muscle.
Why I Love It:
It changed my life. It may have even saved my life. Being fit and healthy brings me joy. I live life on a different level than befor. I am more confident and stronger physically and mentally!
How I Stay Motivated:
Oxygen magazine, Bodybuilders.com, my trainer. "Chicken Tuna". I like the way I look and feel being fit.
BB Accomplishments:
I have totally transformed my body. I was 196 pounds when I delivered my second child. At my lowest I got off the anti-depressents and religiously went to the gym. I have totally tranformed my body. I am very proud of my dedication and determination.
Now I want to build more muscle. I want to loose fat especially from the waist down.
