How I Started:
I was selected by Iovate Health Sciences to transform my body. It's been a long road with alot of bumps along the way.
Why I Love It:
I don't always love it but I know now that if I want to live a healthy life, working out is part of the equation.
How I Stay Motivated:
The people on this site keep me motivated!! They keep me in check and I try to do the same. I also make sure to take pictures. When your mind's eye is lying, a picture will tell you the truth.

Goal (Long):
I want to lead by my own example while accepting there are certain things about myself I cannot change. I want to kick the snot out of my self doubts and triumph over the emotional mountains life has put in my path. I want to know in the deepest most corners of my brain, where everyone hides their secrets, that I'm really trying.

I use to be fascinated with Egyptology, there was a time I could tell you just about anything you wanted to know about it. Not so much anymore. I have boxes of books and videos on it in a closet at home. I need to get them out and read them again. But so much new information has come out since then that the are really antiquated, and some of the theories then have been disproved.
hahaha,that made me laugh alot.gotta tell you this. was at a mates house one summer 4 a bbq. he has a young son. he ran over to his dad and said he needed to drop 1 quick. his dad picked him up and tried to get him inside,but too late! you can imagine,that was bloody funny.
Same, think I'm finally getting the routine down.. been lifting consistently 3X a week and now the running is shaping up too, it helps a lot having a partner that I can't stand up!
I agree! It was also easier when I worked for myself and could be a bit more flexible with my hours. It's much harder since going back into the corporate workforce.
:-) I'm right there with ya! Right now I just want to maintain my weight/bodyfat and NOT go up!! It will be really nice if I can manage to get it to go down a bit! Hibernation sucks!! lol
