For five years,I was a cheerleader for the NFL Kansas City Chiefs. One of the girls I cheered with (Lovena Tuley) was a fitness competitor and I thought she looked AMAZING!! Everyone in the crowd always went nuts over her abs!! So...I took my 5'7", 112lb. self to the weight room, got started and the rest is history!!
Why I Love It:
I love living my life this way not only for the personal benefits, but it's awesome to have the opportunity to actually make a positive difference in other peoples lives. If I can inspire just one person to change their life for the better by getting healthy then it is all worth it!!
How I Stay Motivated:
All of the Girls I work with through Team Bombshell insipire me every day! From the Girl who needs to lose 50lbs to step on stage for the first time, to my National Competitors knocking on the door to their Pro Card, they are ALL CHAMPIONS!!
BB Accomplishments:
Being appointed by NPC Vice President Peter Potter as the Figure and Fitness Chairperson for the State of Florida!!
Watching three of my Bombshell Athletes place in the Top 5 at the NPC Nationals on their FIRST attempt!!

What tips would you give to others to help them stay motivated over the long-term?
Have FUN with this!! If your training isn't enjoyable, you won't stick with it!
Also, if your goal for each show is to have FUN and come in BETTER than the last time you were on stage, you will enjoy the sport SO much more than if you go on stage to beat someone else! The competitors with the most longevity in this sport compete for the RIGHT reasons and have fun doing it!!Have FUN with this!! If your training isn't enjoyable, you won't stick with it!

What are your secrets for making healthy food taste great?
I believe in a GREAT cheat meal once a week and don't worry about the rest! Just eat the diet food...it's for a purpose, NOT to taste good! Save the tasty stuff for the cheat meal!
