Background

HOW I STARTED:

I have worked out off and on for about 5 years or so. I put on some weight in college and got myself a trainer to get me back in shape. I am currently working in a gym and I am motivated by others around me.

WHY I LOVE IT:

I love the way I feel when I work out. I love lifting weights and the energy I get after a workout.

HELP ME RENAME OUR GYM

To all you creative fitness peeps, our gym is being renamed so we need some ideas. We have until march 5th so pass any ideas my way. Our gym has full weights, cardio, climbing wall, raquetball, squash and kids area. Please please, all ideas welcome!!!

NEED NEW GYM NAME ASAP!

Come on all you intelligent fitness junkies! My gym that I work at is having a re-grand opening in the new year and we need a name. It is a family facility with weightroom, fitness classes, basketball court, squash and raquetball courts and mini climbing wall for kids. Please put your brains together and help me out! Thanks in advance for all the amazing ideas!


The New Name deadline is March 5th. Any creative ideas out there???

I wanted to find out my body fat % as accurate as possible so I did the hydrostatic testing at the University today. I was really excited to go because I have been doing really good these last 6 months and expected less than the Omron tester we have at my gym. Wow, I am pretty shocked. Apparently I am 27.5% body fat. I am so upset right now. Not the results I was expecting. I booked another test for 3 months from now and it WILL BE 5% less. I promise this to myself. Wish me luck, a little incouragement doesn't hurt. :(
