When I Started:
May, 2009
How I Started:
10 years ago I used to workout all the time, 3-5 days a week. 2 1/2 years ago I blew my back out (herniated disk). Lost lots of size and gained weight (fat). Well I'm back now and determined to get my body back at the age of 45.
Why I Love It:
The way it makes me feel. And I am more motovated to other things at work and at home.
How I Stay Motivated:
This is the hardest part. It's too easy these days to say I had a bad day and join friends at happy hour. Luckily I have a few friends that just started to workout, they are keeping me motovated.
Increased muscle size, better health, look good again with my shirt off (cut body fat).
Goal (Long):
I had a back injury over two years ago and had to drop the gym. Since then I've lost size (like 2" off my chest) and gained fat weight. Now the back is better and I'm ready to get my summer body on.
Wow, I forgot how good it feels to go to the gym before work. I had a great heavy chest & tricep workout this morning. I feel energized and ready to start my day.
Day 1: Heavy Chest & Shoulder Shaping
Day 2: Heavy Legs & Bicep Shaping
Day 3: Heavy Shoulders & Tricep Shaping
Day 4: Heavy Back & Biceps/Leg Shaping
Cardio & Abs the rest of the week. Also walk the dogs 1 mile a day.
I stopped by to wish you success as you work towards your fitness goal. Too many people think it can’t be done and so they don't even try but you are proving that with hard work and determination it can. If there is ever anything that I can do to be of assistance please feel free to give me a yell. Stay strong, focused and determined.
Dude so that M&F challenge totally kicked some serious ass I am ready to go back to a different scheme but I learned a lot and I might hit it again in a few months just to switch it up.
Stick through the low points. I'm feelin' kinda in a rut myself. When the motivation goes away, you have to have optimism and resiliency.
Just know that you'll get on the upswing, and try not to go too far on the dark side :-D
