I started weight lifting while I was in high school to gain strength for cheerleading. I have been weight training off and on since then, and really got serious in 2002 after gaining weight. I most recently got back into weight training seriously in 2006 when I started building my home gym.
Why I Love It:
When I can actually set my mind to it, it feels great and I make great gains. It's the motivation to actually work out that is the toughest part.
How I Stay Motivated:
This site helps keep me motivated, but I always visualize myself and how I want to look and that motivates me to try harder each time.

'Cause sometimes you just feel tired, you feel weak
And when you feel weak you feel like you want to just give up
But you gotta search within you, you gotta find that inner strength
And just pull that shit out of you and get motivation to not give up
And not be a quitter, no matter how bad you want to just fall flat on your face and collapse.

I am new to the site but I have to say that you are the first person I have come across that lists their weight as being over 130. I am six foot and have a large frame so when I get down to 170, I will be overjoyed. I just appreciated the fact that you look great while weighing more than 120!!
Sweet - last year (when I was living in Ohio)I did the VIP package - this year I live in GA, and happened to be in OH for businessm so I just did one day of the expo.
