50

Gym:
Waco YMCA
Gym Location:

When I Started:
Oct, 2006
How I Started:
I started on the machines to build up a little strength. Then I added treadmill and later stair master. After 6 months I began to replace the machines with free weights where possible.
Why I Love It:
I like the feeling after the workout is done. ...and looking at the dedicated women who work out to stay fit and trim. The more I sweat, the better I feel. :)
How I Stay Motivated:
I remember what got me started. I took my two sons out to Lake Travis on a Waverunner. We hit a large wake and we all fell off into the lake. When I couldn't get back on the Waverunner, my oldest son started laughing at me and said, "Dad, your so fat, you can't even get on the Waverunner." It was hard words but true. It made me make time to work out.
BB Accomplishments:
Going from 235lbs and fat to 200lbs and a little leaner.

Anywho, I just wanted to thank you for your comments to my thread. Yup, abs are created in the kitchen and not the gym. :)
