What started out as a meaningless quest for muscle has turned into a lifestyle for me over the last 6 months. I've been eating, breathing, and drinking bodybuilding (oh and lifting too lol). I want to compete someday. I know my pictures really suck guys, sorry, but I don't have a nice digi, and I don't know anybody who does. The second I have nice pics I'll get them up.
Awesome! I'm going to meet Jerry Poteet in August during a Seminar, I am stoked.
I also need some new progress pics but school is killing progress and myself. As of August 14th I return to full-time working out and I can't wait.
Eating, water intake, sleep and normal calorie burning just for being awake (Resting metabolic rate). Salt is a big one because salt causes large fluctuations of absorbed water and thus retention/not enough retention. Your body goes back and forth. Other foods with high GI (glycemic index) cause insulin spikes - bad.
A variance of 3 lbs is normal though, which is why losing/gaining 1lbs doesn't mean everything in the world.
Hey man, don't weigh yourself too often because it can skew your results. You should pick a "measuring" day where you measure and weigh yourself before breakfast and exercise at the same time every week.
Keep up the good work, you've got a very stout base!
