Still need to get new running shoes tho! haha Hope you feel better soon buddy. Have a wicked chrimbo

Yeah mate, Ive been the same the past couple of months. Paused the app to give me more time. Will probably get in around the same time as you. Yeah, with the amount of applicants you'd think they'd take it easy on the advertising!! New standards are gonna be tough too. Thanks man, nah I havent lost any weight to be honest. Only weight train 2 hrs a week though so it doesnt make sense. Really dont wanna give up gym all together though

The standards have gone up recently and you need to achieve near perfect scores to get in. Pass is not acceptable! Good to hear from you mate. Whats your weekly routine like? You'll get your stomach sorted man, dont worry. When do you think you can get in?

Alright mate. Yeah, its been a bit iffy last couple of weeks. Had some leg problems which I had to take time off to sort (shin splints/pulled calf etc), but im getting back into it. Apart from the running side my other stats are great at the moment. Ive paused the application for a little bit to get my cardio in order. Sucks but its no biggie. Rather get in ready than fail PRMC. haha same here mate. Im just trying to be optimistic. Yeah, Im running 3 milers at a pretty good rate. Return run at around 10mins and getting lower. Needs work still. ah well. I know Im gonna come back stronger and faster. Nightmare running though. Ive been on a 2 year bulk and muscle doesnt help with running in the least lol. I aint gonna stop though man. Nothing is gonna make me quit

aahhhhh mate. I ****ed up on the 2nd run. Gutted. Id eaten a big meal too soon before, ran the first one fine, went about halfway through the 2nd and nearly hurled and stopped. Got 2 months before the re-run now so its not too bad. Gonna look on the bright side and take it as 2 months extra training time! Nevermind eh. Im not done yet

haha, unfortunately not. He just made me strip down to the boxers and do press ups and some leg movements. Shame, I shaved and talced up especially (no homo) haha. Yeah, Im well chuffed mate. Just smashed my times on a run tonight. Felt like a breeze after taking a couple of days off. My username on PRMC is ANABOLIC. Im probably gonna set it at 12.5km for the 1st run, then 14-16km for the second. Hope you manage to get the rmr stuff sorted soon buddy

lmfao, mate that was hilarious! 5 comments lol. Annoying as hell innit. Yeah, I think I might slow it down a little to be honest. I wanna get in RT before christmas and an injury would not be nice. What exactly is involved in the medical anyway? Like what do they do? Cant find any info on it. I dont mind stripping down to the thong for a female doc. Wont be the first time pablo and juarez have been in the hands of one lol

The current volume is very high, and Im not sure whether to slow down a bit on it. My runs are definitely getting better though. Feeling easier every run. Im running with an ex army mate. Guys a machine at running. Should be tabbing up the mountains soon too. That'll be fun. Wanna get proper stuck into it and be more than fit enough when the training comes. Yeah, Im kinda worried about the medical. What sort of things do people fail on?

Running about 2-3 miles a day, plus an 8 mile run on saturdays. Getting there! If all goes well Ill be in RT before christmas. Cant wait

Hi mate. Yeah I dont know which troop it'll be at this point as its very early stages. Only just got confirmation of the first of my tests. Im extremely determined though. Why did you decide to drop out? If you could give me some tips on the best way to train for it id really appreciate it. What was your training routine like? My cardio is the main thing I need to improve on I think.
Good to see you're rejoining mate. Best of luck for it. I cant wait to get in!

Hey mate!
I got shinsplints when I was training for the Royal Marines, in the buildup to the fitness test, so I had to pause my application process.
In that time, I found out about the RAF Reg, and decided I would go for that instead. Not really sure why tbh..
What week did you drop out of RM training and why? And what makes you want to go back in?
