Supplement Direct High Performance Creatine
Started: Jun 06, 2000
Reason: An economical option to Cell-Tech, I take this post workout only (on non-training days CEE is my creatine of choice) and depending on the amount of muscle worked, I'll vary the amount from one-two and half scoops. I take advantage of the insulin surge from this after training by mixing all the other post-workout goods in to: BCAA's, Whey Hydrolysate, N-acetyl glutamine.

Reason: I started throwing in about 2.5grams pre and post workout unless I had some HPC after workout. On non-workout days, I'll take a serving before breakfast. Its a tough one to choke down, so a non acidic juice is good to take it with.

Reason: A b-complex already pre-activated. Usually, you'll see a b-complex with all the B's in their pre-vitamin form (still need to be configured and twisted along with some other molecules to become active) and much of it can pass through the body, underutilized.

Reason: Full of about 20% di and tri peptides, post workout... you can't get a quicker release of amino acids into the blood stream. In fact, di and tri peptides absorb quicker than lone amino acids... I'll see if I can dig up the exact mechanism to this and explain why.

Reason: BCAA's are some of the first few amino acids to begin being pulled from the muscle cell for use of energy during exercise. Once on a shortage, your body begins disassembling lean mass for more BCAA's. So I take 10 grams before AND after training (4 scoops). If I get 50grams of whey hydrolysate in, I might just cut it back to 2.5grams.

Reason: I added this after a customer was raging about it being much better than any other "stamina booster" he'd used. And it makes since why because of its assistance in removing ammonia and lactic acid from working muscle. On training days, right now, I'm just using 6grams with my pre-workout shake.

Reason: I considered using this after talking to one of the main guys at Hi-Tech and it made more sense after reading some literature on rhaponticum carthamoides. Although some of it does not give too much towards this ingredient. I take 4 a day instead of 2 and did so after the company rep and I discussed its use vs. my bodyweight. Since taking it, I have to say, I've noticed some additional fullness and strength from it. I'll cycle off soon and come back to it after a 4 week break.

Reason: One of the guys in the company was using some on an arm day. He had what looked like a niacin flush on his bi's and tri's on an arm day and said his skin was tingling. From the articles I'd read about it as well, this proved to be effective and doing its job. I was in after that.

Reason: Pumped to take some pressure of my cartilage. Not terribly pumped about the brown hue it adds to my lighter shakes, but liking the research I've come across on it.
