I used to be really fat, 220lbs. I was always tired and I was not happy when I looked at myself in the mirror. My dad was always fit because he is in the military and I began to envy him.
I started working out in my basement with my dads equipment while he was on deployment, not really knowing what i was doing and started loosing weight. I began eating better reading more about the sport. I started feeling better, pants started getting looser, I was getting addicted.
Why I Love It:
My passion is for the arts in all forms. From Photographic to Charcoal and everywhere in between.
The human form is amazing being that it can handle all the shit one can pollute it with, alcohol, various drugs, trans fats, and still keep running. The human body can produce feelings unlike anything on earth from the high you get from substance, the feeling when you have an orgasm, or the feeling of endorphins pumping throughout after a good lift.
I see body building as another form of art and i take that mentality and drive into the gym everyday. I want to make a masterpiece out of myself
How I Stay Motivated:
I can always be better

BB Accomplishments:
-When I first started dropping my body weight from 220 to 150 in three months without the help of any supplements ( I was uneducated).
-Always finding time to workout everyday even with all my big projects.

Look at this. All 200lbs. of me. I just did not care back then
A long road to walk until i get to where i want to go, but i am having a good time traveling
Why I like this video: I love this show, which is not on the air and well i dont know. it makes me laugh because thats how i am on chest day when i get pec compliments.
Brett bro, you have made some awesome progress over the years. Great job. Your poses are artsy and it shows off definition especially in the back. Legs are not bad but we all need to work on them. Brett try to give more attention to the abs. If you get them down packed and ripped then you will have the whole package regardless of anything else. You truly look good, now but you will really rock after you get them abs in shape.
I can't wait either! I have so many people to train with this upcoming year that I foresee myself hitting the gym a lot... Which is good, I have a long, bumpy road ahead of me.
THANKS..YOU KNOW YOU HIT IT RIGHT ON THE HEAD WITH WHAT WORKS STICK WITH IT! THAT'S WHAT MAKES LIFTING SO DIFFERENT BECAUSE WHAT WORK FOR YOU MAY OR MAY NOT WORK FOR ME...I GUESS WE KEEP TRYING UNTIL WE FIND SOMETHINGS THAT WORKS THEN OF COURSE WE HAVE TO CHANGE IT A LITTLE AS OUR BODY ADAPTS TO IT!
Just saw all the new pics you've posted - you certainly have brought out the art within. Also, you're showing some good back development and I'd say the rest of your training is going well, too. Keep up the great work!
